The ladies came out of the gate Friday night ready to play, jumping on the Webberville Spartans. Clearly the Lady Soldiers were motivated, after taking a tough loss the game before, against Oakland Christian. This night the ladies played with much more effort on both ends of the floor— simply out working the Spartans. At the half, the Lady Soldiers had built a big lead already. The second half started the same way the first ended, with the Lady Soldiers out working their opponent. They finished 69-28. The Lady Soldiers were led by Gwyn Boike and Ava Boike each with 19 points, and Grace Ballmer and Hannah Dorrow each, with 11 points. Next matchup is with the best team in the GAC, the Hamady Hawks at GCS on Tuesday, 1/28.
