On Friday night, the Lady Soldiers traveled out to Morrice to play a tough Morrice team, loaded with winning experience. This game quickly turned into a defensive battle with a low scoring first half. Morrice was able to create some second-chance points from offensive rebounding, and also forced a few turnovers that resulted in easy baskets in transition. This turned out to be enough of a difference in the game. Lady Soldiers lost 32-43. They were led by Ava Boike with 10, Gwyn Boike with eight, and Grace Ballmer with seven.
