On Tuesday evening, the boys were matched up with one of the best teams in the state, in Flint Beecher, no matter what division we are talking about. This Beecher team is absolutely loaded with talent and were impressive to watch in person. The Soldiers were pressured right from the start and got themselves in a 10-0 hole but began to show some fight and battled to down 17-10 after the first. The Bucs finished the second quarter on a 8-0 run, pushing the lead to 40-22 at the half. In the second half, the Soldiers struggled to find more offense to keep up, losing 73-38 to Beecher. Moving to 3-3 on the season. The Soldiers were led by Lewis Jones with 10 points, Pierce Carpenter with nine, and Trenton Boike with nine. Next up, we are at Morrice on Friday January 10th at 7pm.
